First Alert CO710 Carbon Monoxide Alarm Giveaway
Protecting your family is important. There are many things out there that can harm us, and one of those happens to be Carbon Monoxide. It is deadly because it is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It can sneak up on us and cause symptoms that mimic the flu. If not caught, it can cause lethal levels of dosage that can be detrimental to you and your family. Do you want to take that risk?
Having enough of these in your home is important because like your smoke detector you need to ensure you can monitor these levels on every floor of your house including the basement, and in every bedroom, whether they are yours, children, or that newborn.
I am participating with Tom’s Take On Things and First Alert to help give one of these monitors away. This particular model has a back-lit display, and can measure the temperature where it is as well. They can be mounted on the wall, or sit nicely on a shelf, or dresser. The First Alert CO710 Carbon Monoxide Alarm has a battery that lasts 10 years, with no need to change them for the life of the alarm. After about 10 years it will alert you when the battery has expired and you will need to replace the unit.
Sorry to say it, But I don’t have a carbon monoxide detector. Really need to have one in the house.
Awesome review! We do not have a CO detector in our home, but I sure see the importance of having one after watching this video and reading your review! I especially like that this carbon monoxide alarm has built-in lithium batteries that provide protection without having the need to replace them for up to 10 years! My family’s safety is my #1 priority! Thanks for sharing with us!
I left my comment on the review on both pages to make sure!
We have one, but I do not test once a week. I think we need more than one in our home, and would love another one. Our detector batteries have to be replaced once a year, which is a bother. Would love to have one that lasted 10 years.
I don’t have any CO detectors in my house but after reading your post I realize how much I really do need them. Especially since winter is coming up.
We do have a Carbon Monoxide detector in the Den. I am not sure that is enough because it is 3 rooms away from our bedroom. No checking it. Should I???
I don’t have a Carbon Monoxide detector and don’t have any appliances that give off carbon monoxide. I will be giving this to my sister.
